We have worked with both large and small companies in different industries
such as manufacturing, business and professional services, financial services, distribution
and logistics and specialty retailing. And, we have brought value to each of them in
different ways.
Some examples of our work include helping a small client firm through a
total re-organization and re-structuring, and re-positioning of their offering portfolio
with a modified mix to include a larger proportion of the higher value-added service
offerings and an updated go-to-market strategy in the context of the market dynamics. Within
24 months the company was able to realize a 10-fold increase in revenues, and due to the
rapid rate of increase in the revenue-growth rate, the change strategy ultimately led them
to be successfully acquired soon thereafter, thereby creating immense value for all the
shareholders.
Another example is where we analyzed the usage data of a certain service
stream across 700 client companies, 10,000 users, and 1 million transactions over a period
of 5 years for a very large corporation and using econometric analysis, created and
algorithm for predicting revenues and profits over time linked to the type of customer,
service mix, contract terms, and other key indicators. This ultimately led to identifying
specific areas where certain under-performing accounts needed attention for enhancing
profitability at the account level and thus to the total re-design of an entirely new
service offering with desired revenue and profit ratios in accordance with corporate
strategy. The strategy and data warehousing/business intelligence engagement led to savings
of millions of dollars for the client during the first eighteen months alone.
With a different service offering, we brought value to a client with one of
our shared services. We assisted a large public bank with scanning of 48 file-cabinets
containing their secure documents. We set up a mobile network within their premises with a
team of six dedicated persons working 16 hour-days to complete the assignment within 6 weeks
and we converted all their file cabinets consisting of well over a million documents into
electronic form, plugged the output into a unique customized classification system with a
search engine for easy and instantaneous retrieval of information, backed up the data for
shared access by multiple users with a time and date stamp and an audit trail of usage of the
documents. This enabled the bank to upgrade to a state-of-the-art system and to successfully
enable the acquisition of the division by another bank because they had all the documentation
and system in place.
